As a long-time Edmonton Disc Jockey Service, we have been providing our brand of high-quality Service and Performance for your family, friends and neighbours for over 25Years. If you've ever been to a great party in Alberta, BC or Saskatchewan, chances are you've experienced a City Pro Entertainment Production.
You won't find prices on our website. In our vast experience we have found it impossible to give everyone cookie-cutter prices for cookie-cutter packages- what works for one might not be the best fit for someone else. We'll work with you to make sure you get everything you need to make sure your entertainment is the perfect end to your event. We'll ask lots of questions and we'll have an open mind to your vision and objectives. In return we'll deliver the results that have supported our reputation for over a quarter century.
We have a wide variety of personalities to choose from: no two are the same. City Pro was, once again, proud to be involved with The Canadian Curling Association, World Curling Federation and Allstar Show Industries in providing in-house video production and DJ music programming for the Alexander Keith's Patch at the Tim Horton's Brier in Halifax and Alexander Keith's Extra End Patch for the Ford World Women's Curling Championships held in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. And when the action hits the ice for the 2010/11 Season City Pro will again be part of the action December 1-5 in Medicine Hat for the 2010 Canada Cup, January 13-16 For the World Financial Continental Cup held in St. Albert, Alberta February 19-27, 2011 in Charlletown, P.E.I. for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, The Tim Horton's Brier in London, Ontario March 5-13, 2011 and the Ford World Men's Curling Championships in Regina, Sask. April 2-10 2011.
City Pro was also very proud to be involved with the Lois Hole Hospital For Women Grand Opening and The Edmonton Police Service's latest graduating class. Our attention to detail and our ability to work within the parameters set out by event planners makes City Pro the right choice, every time!
Giving Never Felt So Good
City Pro is very proud to have donated our FACEBOOTH.CA Photobooths To Go! to Hair Massacure 2010 this past Valentines week- A Fundraiser for The Stollery Children's Hospital and the Make A Wish Foundation. Thousands of donors and their families dropped by West Edmonton Mall's Ice Palace to donate money and HAIR! We were honoured to provide "Before & After" photos of everyone who wanted one!
City Pro Entertainment is also excited to lend a hand to our longtime friends at The Edmonton Humane Society (June 26th, 2010 at Laurier Park) and The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation (June 13, 2010 Rundle Park) with their efforts in promoting awareness and fundraising. City Pro provides on-site DJ music programming and public announcing.
Just a note for all of you looking to hire a Wedding DJ, this is an email I received from a couple that will ensure that they get the DJ they want to fill their needs. I blanked the real names and numbers.

Hi,
My fiance and I are planning our wedding for next summer, A Saturday in June and we are looking for a wedding DJ, who is willing to travel to ******, Alberta (about X km out of ________), the function will be at (banquet facility name).
Also the DJ we are looking for would:
- DJ for a group of about 150 people
- Meet with us ahead of time to plan our evening
- Be set up in the hall for 5:00pm as our guests will be arriving for cocktails at 5:30pm
- Play soft music during cocktail & dinner hours
- Let us use their wireless PA system for our speeches & announcements
- Make announcements like the first dance, wedding party dance, parents dance, bouquet & garter toss, midnight lunch, etc.
- DJ in a Tux would be a nice touch
- Start the dance at about 9:00pm and play until 1:00am
- Play after 1:00am if requested
- Allow some reasonable requests from guests
- Play top 40, country, R&B, oldies & old/soft rock...
- Must make sure music is at reasonable volume (walk around and listen, ask people about the volume)
- We would want some tasteful light effects and a mirror ball (no strobe lights or fog machine)
- A few Fun interactive Games for guests would be nice
